Stratford upon Avon

Hi guys!

Today I want to describe the place I liked most from our tour through England two weeks ago to you: Stratford upon Avon.
Stratford is a lovely little town not far away from Birmingham. You might know the little town because of Shakespeare’s birthplace which it is famous for. So we went there to visit this famous place, however, Stratford has much more to offer than just the birthplace of William Shakespeare.

There is a beautiful park by the river Avon where a friend of mine and I decided to watch the sunset. The atmosphere was really magic there, swans and little boats were swimming on the river and everyone was quite relaxed. You were able to cross the river through an old looking, orange Stonebridge and on the other side there were lots of huge trees.
This park is the perfect place to go to relax a little bit, meet friends, and watch the sun going down or just to enjoy the nature – it is one of the bright places where you want to stop time.

However, it is also worth to saunter through the narrow and clean streets of the city of Stratford which is marked by its old looking buildings.
To put it in a nutshell, it is definitely worth to visit Stratford upon Avon!

Best greetings,
 Sarah :)
