TINTAGEL

Hello guys!
As you know, we had been on a trip two weeks ago. We went to England. Spending 9 days travelling around England, I saw a lot of beautiful places, but the most impressing one was in Tintagel.

Our coach drove us to Tintagel, or tried to. It was a little bit difficult, because we had a really big coach and the roads were really narrow. At the end we had a delay of about an hour. In general Tintagel is known for King Athur. The guy, who took the sword out of the stone, became king and so on. Even though King Arthur was never there, there had been a castle. There are just a few stones left and I expected a lot more, but as our tourguide said:"I would not go there, if it was not so beautiful." Ulli meant the surroundings of the `castle´ , the landscape, the view, the sea.

We walked up a little hill, where we took a lot of photos. Up the hill you have a really enchanting view on the sea and the cliffs and how the waves are crashing into the cliffs. Everyone enjoyed it a lot. The time in this little paradise was way too short. Although everyone wanted to stay, we had to leave, because we booked a guided tour. So we ran down the hill, back to our bus, to be in time.
