Today I want to tell you something about the Christmas Markets in my hometown Linz.
The smell of Bratwürstel, gingerbread and Linzer Torte from the Christmas Market on the Main Square and the Christmas Market in the Volksgarten brings you closer to Christmas Eve.
You can buy beautiful Christmas presents and eat the best gingerbread and drink mulled wine. You should visit both Markets because they are so wonderful.A tram drives nearly every 3 minutes from one Christmas Market to the otherone.
I prefer the Market on the Main Square because the scenery is unbelievable beautiful and there aren't so many people as well.
However the Christmas Market in the Volksgarten is fine too but there are always so many people and a lot of junk-shops.
All in all I do love the pre-Christmas period and I also like the Christmas Markets in Linz.
Yours Moritz
Hi Moritz,
ReplyDeletethanks for your info about the Christmas markets in Linz - very good use of emphasis in the last sentence! ;-)
But watch out: a tram GOES (or leaves in that case), the other one, unbelievably beautiful (it´s a qualifying adjective, therefore adverb), in negative sentences (=with not) you cannot you as well - use EITHER instead!
Yours truly,
ERF
Ooops, I meant: you cannot USE as well, of course! ERF
