G’day my Austrian mates,
I hope everyone’s feeling good today?
Last
sunday the weather was perfect to go to the beach, so I did. Stefanie
and I, we first went to Bondi beach and went for a little swim there but
it was so crowded, that we decided to do the Bondi-Bronte walk
and to visit the beach between Bondi and Bronte and this one is called
Tamarama or Glamourama (because it's known as the beach to
see and to be seen :’D)
So yeah that was basically everything we
did, chilled on the beach, took lots of photos and enjoyed the sun, just
lived the good aussie life. And guess what, I got sunburnt haha but
only on the front of my body, because I didn’t put sunscreen on and the
sun was pretty hot on sunday so it was obvious to get one. Well, that’s
life and I’m happy that it already tanned but it looks kind of funny
because my back side it not as tanned as the front.
And again here are a few pictures
PS: On saturday I'm going to Morisette park, to meet some sweet kangooros so be excited for the following pictures ;)
Yours,
Miro <3

Miro's NYE
Hello my lovely friends,
I know it’s a bit too late to post something about NYE but I had no time to write something about it and when I had time, I just wasn’t really bothered.
Anyway, so on NYE my host sister Katy, a friend of her, my roommate Stefanie (she’s from Belgium if anyone want’s to know) and I really wanted to watch the fireworks especially Stefanie and I wanted to watch them because for us that was probably a once in a lifetime moment. Unfortunately we decided too late where to go so we had no chance to get a spot somewhere in the city or where we could have seen the whole firework.
Therefor we decided to go to a park on a little hill from where we could see the top of the Sydney Harbor Bridge fireworks and parts of the fireworks from beaches around Sydney. The whole evening was very funny and just a nice and chill evening with friends. Midnight came slowly closer and closer and everyone around us got more excited and then the clock turned twelve and firework after firework appeared in the sky. Everyone was holding their mobile phones and cameras to take pictures of these beautiful fireworks, and they were really the most beautiful ones I have ever seen in my whole life. The fireworks were over after like 30 minutes and everyone went home directly after, means that the trains were filled out to the last centimeter. But this also meant lots of funny people to meet and we did haha but this post would get way too long if I told you guys how many people we met on our way home.
Yes, this was my NYE actually nothing really special happened, so there is nothing more to talk about.
Here are some of the photos I took from the firework, if you haven’t already seen them on Facebook or Instagram

Love actually
Love actually
Love actually is a British Christmas-themed romantic comedy film, which was written and directed by Richard Curtis in 2003.Richard Curtis was born in New Zealand to Australian parents on the 8. November 1956. He is one of Britain’s most successful comedy screenwriters and primarily known for romantic comedy films (ex: Four weddings and a funeral, Notting hill, Bridget Jone’s diary and Love actually). The film was released on 14. November 2003 in the US and 21. November 2003 in the UK. It debuted to very positive reviews in the United Kingdom but received more mixed reviews in the US. Researches viewed that a lot of people thought that it’s just a „sugary tale overstuffed with too many stories“. The film was a box-office success, grossing almost $247 million worldwide on a budget of $45 million. Most of the movie was filmed on several locations in London, including Trafalgar square, Millennium bridge and London Heathrow airport. Additional themes where filmed at the Marseille airport and Le Bar de la Marine.
The film deals with the different aspects of love as shown through ten separate stories involving a wide variety of individuals; Many of whom are shown to be connected to each other as the tales progress.
It's five weeks to Christmas, and one can witness the formation; Breakup, near breakup, and flirtations of ten different couples, involving British folks (as well as one American woman, a Wisconsin girl, and a Portuguese woman) from 11 to about 55. They include a writer who goes to the Provence after he discovers his brother is having sex with his girlfriend, a professional couple threatened by his secretary's heavy flirtation, a newly-widowed man advising his 11-year-old son on a crush at school, an American secretary consumed by her attraction to a hunky designer in the same firm, a young photographer smitten with his best friend's new bride, a pair of movie stand-ins making conversation while a film crew poses them with less and less clothing on, and the newly-elected Prime Minister - a handsome bachelor increasingly taken by a cute assistant. One other character is an aging rock star trying to revive his career with a Christmas retread of his greatest hit.
This movie is Richard Curtis's directing debut, and his script is not as strong as the ones he wrote for "Four Weddings and a Funeral" or "Bridget Jones's Diary." In fact, there are many plot holes but the terrific cast - especially Bill Nighy, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Rowan Atkinson and Billy Bob Thornton - makes this movie besides a few magical moments worthwhile.
I liked this movie but it’s length has destroyed the most important point of the movie, that you can find love everywhere, even in places you would never expect. Besides that the movie fits perfectly together with everyone's mood before christmas and what the power of christmas can do to our hearts. I would prefer to recommend this movie to the girls because it’s just the typical lovely, happy ending romantic movie every girl loves. Maybe the one or the other has time to watch this movie as well and let me know how you liked it. :)
Lovely greetings from down under,
your Miro

Christmas in Linz
Today I want to tell you something about the Christmas Markets in my hometown Linz.
The smell of Bratwürstel, gingerbread and Linzer Torte from the Christmas Market on the Main Square and the Christmas Market in the Volksgarten brings you closer to Christmas Eve.
You can buy beautiful Christmas presents and eat the best gingerbread and drink mulled wine. You should visit both Markets because they are so wonderful.A tram drives nearly every 3 minutes from one Christmas Market to the otherone.
I prefer the Market on the Main Square because the scenery is unbelievable beautiful and there aren't so many people as well.
However the Christmas Market in the Volksgarten is fine too but there are always so many people and a lot of junk-shops.
All in all I do love the pre-Christmas period and I also like the Christmas Markets in Linz.
Yours Moritz

My favorite Band / singer
My favorite band is Ncs it’s the short form of No-copyright-sounds, it is more a music label than a band. They have their own Youtube channel with more than 1.5 million followers .On their channel they load up songs from other djs and singers, the most famous djs are Tobu and Alan Walker.
My personal favorite is Fade from Alan Walker, because the song sounds melodious. It is my favorite because I listend to it when I did my first double backflip and my first triple front flip on my garden-trampoline, because the first bass drop has a nice harmonious sound.

It will be a 100 minutes test containing 4 parts!
Do not forget that you can find a lot of exercises for English in use, LCs as well as RCs online, if you google them. I will try to provide some help here or with a handout, too!
